Wailuku Art Space is excited to celebrate the ocean. We hope artists will be inspired to create pieces that reflect their ideas of what the ocean means to them. We hope to see works of all medias that push creativity and artistry inspired by the ocean.

We will be hosting an inclusive exhibition of all art forms celebrating Ocean, above and within, and any inspiration that is derived from the theme whether subjective or abstract. We are hoping to receive works from all medias. Glass, ceramics, painting, digital media, mixed media, photography, wood, fiber, jewelry, and other creative expressions will be accepted. We are taking artworks of all sizes. We ask artists with larger works to contact us prior to receiving day to confirm that we can accommodate.
All works submitted will be given space in our exhibition as long they meet our requirements.
Artwork must be in the theme of, or inspired by the ocean
Artworks must original works. No giclees. Digital and Photography prints are ok
All Artwork must be available for purchase
All pieces must be ready for display. All 2d works must be ready to hang with wires or sawtooth hangers. All unframed pieces must have finished edges or gallery wrapped edges. 3d, and works with special display instructions must be complete and ready for display.
We will be collecting a $10 participation fee per artwork entered. We take 30% on all sales of original arts. Checks will giving after show, and may take up to 2 weeks.
We are giving Artists the option of having archival prints of their works available for sale. We make prints in house using a professional Canon art printer and offer a 40% royalty on all sales to the artist. Our hope is to allow artist to offer a more affordable version of their works available at the Gallery and during the duration of the show. By making artwork more affordable we want anyone feel that they can own a print of a piece that speaks to them or they find beautiful.
Wailuku Art Space is not responsible for any damage done to any artwork. We strive to be inclusive, but reserve the right to refuse artworks.
